“I am very delighted and honored to benefit from this great opportunity to be a part of Merck Foundation Medical Oncology Fellowship conducted at one of the best training sites worldwide, The National Cancer Institute (NCI ) in Egypt. 

This Program will allow me, after completion to provide proper management for cancer patients in Rwanda and the whole East Africa region. Unfortunately there's still a big gap of cancer care infrastructure, lack of skilled personnel, hence poor outcomes plus high mortality rates in Africa. 

Therefore, I am very thankful to the Merck Foundation and the Government of Rwanda for this great opportunity, that I strongly believe will help me make a positive impact on cancer care.“
